She left behind a strand of hair and some curlers that she wore

And a half used jar of cold cream and some lipstick in a drawer

At times I find a bobby-pin scattered here and there

Just a trace of her perfume lingers every where

He left behind a worn out shirt with a button off the sleeve

And a crumpled faded photograph that he once made with me

He left a few old razor blades and a broken pocket comb

And a closet filled with emptiness reminds me that he’s gone
