I Praise You
Your Spirit has raised me and helped me to grow,
showing and teaching me things I should know,
and You never gave up, Lord, Your face never turned,
but You strove with Your servant until he had learned.
That's why I'm ready, Lord, I'm willing and I'm able to climb
that mountain before me but still I need Your hand in mine.
And no matter the cost, Lord, I'm yielding my will,
and I'll learn ev'ry lesson; I'm humbled and still.
And I praise You, I praise You for righting my wrong,
and I praise You, I praise You for making me strong.
Your Spirit, Your Spirit will soothe all the pain,
and I praise You, I praise You again and again.
Lord, without You I'm nothing, without You I'm lost,
oh, but yet, yet You so loved me that You died on, on that cross.
You showed me Your mercy and Your love without end,
and it just makes me want to praise You again and again.
Oh, I praise You, I praise You for righting my wrong,
and I praise You, I praise You for making me strong.
Your Spirit, Your Spirit will soothe all the pain,
and I praise You, I praise You, again and again. (2x)
