1913년에 영국의 프레데릭 에드워드 웨드리가 ' Danny Boy '라는 제목으로

내용을 다시 쓰고 아일랜드 출신 가수 존 맥코맥(John McComack)이 노래를 불러

유명해졌다고 합니다.
