Sometimes I feel like a shadow in the rain, when life deals a wild card I just can't explain, and when can I go to be myself again ? And stop from wanting you, needing you ... A shadow in the rain, two hearts that went wrong, a face without a name, like love that lingers on, I need you more that life, so I hafta break the chain, but right now I'm just a shadow in the rain. Sometimes I think I know the way you feel, but some days I know you hide a heart of steel, oh where can I go to jump right off this wheel ? And stop from wanting you, needing you ... A shadow in the rain, two hearts that went wrong, a face without a name, like love that lingers on, I need you more that life, so I hafta break the chain, but right now I'm just a shadow in the rain. Fading from view, I am almost out, still missing you, so I hide my tears, what more can I do ? 'til the last train. Sometimes I feel like a shadow in the rain, caught up with you, inside a hurricane, oh how can I find the strength to fight again ? Go on without you, just leave you. A shadow in the rain, two hearts that went wrong, a face without a name, like love that lingers on, I need you more that life, so I hafta break the chain, but right now I'm just a shadow in the rain.
