Young girl born into a broken home
Her home was broken because her father left them alone
And her mother was never a picture of a perfection
But she gave birth to her so she was therefore elected to
Protect her no matter what but easier said than done
It¡¯s easier to run than face your own fears
So she found comfort in men that was less than upstanding
In certain one¡¯s opinion
Maybe not the best start in life constant coughing from the passive smoking
She was so open to her surroundings she soaked them in
Stronger than poisoning
It¡¯s probably then she began
To conjure up dreams of living like the lucky in the movies
One brother a dog a mummy and a daddy or any other type of reality that was Less like hers, lessons learnt through local lads who¡¯ll lash your purse
And little girls who scrape, their curls and fashion is their main concern.
v Seasons change, autumn, winter, spring to summer
Life¡¯s a game but the winning is in playing my friend
When you see her don¡¯t just see her faults and failures
¡®Cause she¡¯s winner, she made her story last forever
School was so so kinda felt aimless
Teachers aint paid well so they aint focus
But can you really blame them they never had a bonus
Teach in monotone put you in a coma
But she had better teachers on road
Learnt about stocks and shares and how they grow
Learnt about commodities and probably the
reason she don¡¯t want no GCSEs
¡®cause shotta aint got them but they still pushing whips
sovereign rings one ten kicks
Things don¡¯t click the message aint clear
talking about things that don¡¯t resonate here
¡®Cause what¡¯s exam when you¡¯re sitting here broke
Dad¡¯s in jail mums on coke
and she keep taking all the money out your coat
and lorry¡¯s outside screaming gimmie what your owe
so she turns on the telly but still hears his voice
it¡¯s just a reminder she aint here by choice
