Walking on the road to Jerusalem,
(¿¹·ç»ì·½À¸·Î °¡´Â±æÀ» °È½À´Ï´Ù.)
The time had come to sacrifice again,
(´Ù½Ã Á¦¹°À» ¹ÙÄ¥ ¶§°¡ µÇ¾ú½À´Ï´Ù.)
My two small sons,
(ÀúÀÇ µÎ ¾î¸° ¾Æµéµé,)
They walk beside me on the road,
(±×µéÀº Á¦ ¿·¿¡¼ ±æÀ» µû¶ó °È½À´Ï´Ù.)
The reason that they came
(±×µéÀÌ °¡´Â ÀÌÀ¯´Â)
was to watch the lamb.
(¾î¸°¾çµéÀ» º¸±â À§Çؼ ¿´Áö¿ä.)
Daddy, daddy,
("¾Æºü, ¾Æºü)

What will we see there,

So I told them of Moses

There will be so many in Jerusalem today,

We must be sure the lamb doesn"t run away,

When we reached the city,

(¿ì¸®°¡ µµ½Ã¿¡ µµÂøÇßÀ» ¶§)

I knew something must be wrong,

(¹º°¡°¡ À߸øµÇ¾ú´Ù´Â°É ¾Ë°ÔµÇ¾ú½À´Ï´Ù.)
There were no joyful worshipers,

No joyful worship songs,

(±â»Û Âù¼ÛÀÇ ³ë·¡µéµµ,)
I stood there with my children

(Àú´Â ¾ÆÀ̵é°ú °Å±â ¼ÀÖ¾ú½À´Ï´Ù.)

in the midst of angry men,

(ºÐ³ëÇÑ »ç¶÷µé ÇѺ¹ÆÇ¿¡¼,)

Crucify Him.

We tried to leave the city

but we could not get away,

Forced to play in this drama

a part I did not wish to play,
(Á¦°¡ ¿øÄ¡ ¾Ê¾Ò´ø ¹è¿ªÀ» ¸»ÀÌÁö¿ä,)

Why upon this day

(¿Ö À̳¯)

were men condemned to die,

Why were we standing here,

Where soon they would pass by.
(±×µéÀº °ð Áö³ª°¡°Ô µÉ ¿©±â¿¡...)

I looked and said, even now they come,
(Àú´Â º¸°í ¸»Çß½À´Ï´Ù, "¹Ù·Î Áö±Ý ±×µéÀÌ ¿Â´Ù!")
The first one cried for mercy,

The people gave him none,

The second one was violent,

He was arrogant and loud,

(±×´Â ¿À¸¸ÇÏ°í ½Ã²ô·¯¿ü½À´Ï´Ù.)
I still can hear his angry voice

screaming at the crowd,

Then someone said there"s Jesus,

(±×¸®°í´Â ´©±º°¡°¡ ¿¹¼ö°¡ ¿Â´Ù°í ¸»Çß½À´Ï´Ù.)
I scarce believed my eyes,

A man so badly beaten,

He barely looked alive,

(±×´Â °Ü¿ì ¼ûÀÌ ºÙ¾îÀÖ´Â°Í °°¾Æº¸¿´½À´Ï´Ù.)

Blood poured from His body,

From the forms upon His brow,

Running down the cross,

(½ÊÀÚ°¡¸¦ Èê·¯¼,)

Falling to the ground.
(¹Ù´Ú¿¡±îÁö ¶³¾îÁý´Ï´Ù)
I watched Him as He struggled,
(±×°¡ Èûµé¾îÇÏ´Â °ÍÀ» Àú´Â ÁöÄѺ¸¾Ò½À´Ï´Ù.)
I watched Him as He fell,

(Àú´Â ±×°¡ ³Ñ¾îÁö´Â°ÍÀ» º¸¾Ò½À´Ï´Ù)

The cross came down upon His back,
(½ÊÀÚ°¡°¡ ±×ÀÇ µî¿¡ ¿Ã·ÁÁö´Â °ÍÀ» º¸¾Ò½À´Ï´Ù.)
The crowd began to yell,

(±ºÁßµéÀº °íÇÔÄ¡±â ½ÃÀÛÇß½À´Ï´Ù.)
In that moment I felt such agony,
(±× ¼ø°£ Àú´Â ½ÉÇÑ °íÅëÀ» ´À²¼½À´Ï´Ù)
In that moment I felt such loss,
(±× ¶§ ±×¼ø°£ Àú´Â »ó½Ç°¨À» ´À²¼½À´Ï´Ù)
Till a Roman soldier grabbed my arm
(±× ¶§ ·Î¸¶º´»ç ÇѸíÀÌ ÀúÀÇ ÆÈÀ» ºÙÀâ°í´Â)
and screamed, you, carry His cross.
("³Ê, ³×°¡ ±×ÀÇ ½ÊÀÚ°¡¸¦ Á®¶ó!" ¶ó°í Á¦°Ô ¼Ò¸®ÃƽÀ´Ï´Ù.)
At first I tried to resist him,
(óÀ½¿¡´Â Àú´Â °ÅºÎÇÏ·Á°í Çß½À´Ï´Ù.)
Then his hand reached for his cross,
(±×¸®°í ±×ÀÇ ¼ÕÀ¸·Î ½ÊÀÚ°¡¸¦ Àâ¾Ò½À´Ï´Ù.)
So I knelt and took
(±×·¡¼ Àú´Â ¹«¸²Ý°í¼ ¹Þ¾Ò½À´Ï´Ù.)
the cross from the Lord,
(ÁÖ´ÔÀÇ ½ÊÀÚ°¡¸¦...)
I placed it on my shoulder,
(Àú´Â ±×°ÍÀ» Á¦ ¾î±úÀ§¿¡ ¸Å¾ú½À´Ï´Ù.)
And started down the street,
(±×¸®°í¼ °Å¸®¸¦ ³»·Á°¡±â ½ÃÀÛÇß½À´Ï´Ù.)
The blood that he"d been shedding
(±×°¡ È긮°í ÀÖ¾ú´ø Çǰ¡)
was running down my cheek.
(ÀúÀÇ »´À» Ÿ°í Èê·¯³»·È½À´Ï´Ù.)
They led us to Golgotha,
(±×µéÀº ÀúÈñµéÀ» °ñ°í´Ù·Î µ¥·Á°¬½À´Ï´Ù.)
They drove nails

deep in His feet and hands,
(±×ÀÇ ¹ß°ú ¼Õ¿¡ ±íÈ÷ ¹Ú¾Æ³Ö¾ú½À´Ï´Ù.)
Yet upon the cross I heard Him pray
(½ÊÀÚ°¡ À§¿¡ °è½Ç¶§ Àú´Â ±×ºÐÀÇ ±âµµ¸¦ µé¾ú½À´Ï´Ù.)
Father, forgive them.
("¾Æ¹öÁö, ÀúµéÀ» ¿ë¼ÇϼҼ")
Oh, never have I seen such love
(¿À, Àú´Â ±×·¯ÇÑ »ç¶ûÀ» º» ÀûÀÌ ¾ø½À´Ï´Ù.)
in any other eyes,
(´Ù¸¥ ¾î¶²ÀÌÀÇ ´«¿¡¼µµ...)
Into thy hands I commit my spirit
("´ç½ÅÀÇ ¼Õ¿¡ ÀúÀÇ ¿µÈ¥À» ¸Ã±é´Ï´Ù.")
He prayed and then He died,
(±×´Â ±âµµÇß°í µ¹¾Æ°¡¼Ì½À´Ï´Ù.)
I stood for what seemed like years,
(Àú´Â ¸î ³â µ¿¾ÈÀ̳ª ¼ÀÖ´Â µí Çß½À´Ï´Ù.)
I"d lost all sense of time
(Àú´Â ½Ã°£°¨°¢À» ÀÒ¾î¹ö·È½À´Ï´Ù.)
until I felt to tiny hands
(ÀÛÀº ¼Õ±æÀ» ´À³¢°ÔµÇ±â Àü ±îÁö¿ä)
holding tight to mine,
(ÀúÀÇ ¼ÕÀ» ²À ºÙÀâ°í)
My children stood there weeping,

(¾ÆÀ̵éÀº ¼¼ ¿ï¸Ô¿´½À´Ï´Ù.)
I heard the oldest say,

(Å« ¾ÆÀ̰¡ ¸»Çß½À´Ï´Ù.)
Father please forgive us,

("¾Æºü ÀúÈñ¸¦ ¿ë¼ÇØÁÖ¼¼¿ä,)

the lamb ran away.
(¾çÀÌ µµ¸Á°¡¹ö·È¾î¿ä.")

Daddy, daddy,

So I took them in my arms,

And we turned and faced the cross,
