against the spirits of this world

let us fix our eyes upon Christ

the author and perfector of faith

who for the joy set before Him

endured the cross scorning its' shame
|
consider Him who endured such opposition
|
so that we will not grow weary
|
in our battle against flesh and blood
|
God will prevail
|
strengthen our feeble arms and our weak knees
|
so that we will know that suffering
|
produces perseverance
|
and blessed are the persecuted
