you weren't there you couldn't see too far for thought or comforting so i react a chemical barely intact out of control and you pretend like it wasn't real while i pretend like i couldn't feel more pain is the only thing that can stop this pain from more pain is the only thing that can stop this pain from hurting so now we sit face to face and both commit to erase these memories which cause us both to wince so i must forget and i must convince myself i'm fine and better off but although the bone is hard the marrows soft
