RAY: Dear Rosalind, In answer to all your questions: firstly, I'm afraid it wouldn't help you to feel secure. In fact, it would defeat you. Insecurity is the principal driving force we performers share. Secondly, like you, something awful happened to me as a child, but I learned from it. The only power available to you lies in your submission. Isn't that what the photo was all about? Remember, you don't have to bury the past or the pain. You can use it.
